A Yonkers, New York native, Tia has over 15 years of experience in marketing, merchandising, and wellness, bringing a unique, interdisciplinary approach to sustainable fashion. Her commitment to responsible manufacturing has earned recognition from Essence, Shape, and New York Magazine, and she seamlessly integrates mindfulness—backed by 20 years of practice and multiple certifications—into her leadership style. As the founder of Vertical Activewear, part of Georgia Tech’s prestigious ATDC portfolio, and an alumna of the City of Atlanta’s 2022 Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) Cohort, Tia is dedicated to reshaping the fashion industry with sustainability and purpose
